It's great to be off the update treadmill and have what is essentially a 'solid state' system. One of the benefits of sticking with things as they are, is no longer feeling the need to constantly buy the next greatest plugin and to concentrate on what I have and learn it inside out. There are no unexpected surprises when I turn her on and she is cheap to run, although I occasionally buy a Kontakt instrument from time to time just to spice things up. I know exactly what makes her happy and she gives me exactly what I need to be productive. Since I use Pro Tools 10.3.10, I couldn't go beyond 10.8.5 anyway.ĭomMe and my Snow Leopard system have settled down into a very happy and comfortable marriage. I'd rather use my computer to do stuff instead of doing stuff with my computer ![]() But I'd better remain productive.Īs a fellow slutzer used to say. That being said, I am between projects with some time to muck around. The ecosystem is perfect.Īlthough, I could use of some of the new Reason 9 features, it wouldn't really change my life or majorly improve my workflow. Convince me to upgrade from OS X 10.6.8 to 10.XX.XX?
